Repetitive Stress Injuries | Carpal Tunnel Syndrome | Tendonitis
Repetitive stress injury is the name given to a group of conditions that are caused when too much stress is placed on a joint. Repetitive stress injury happens when the same action is performed over and over.
Performing the same action over and over can cause pain and swelling in the muscles, tendons and bursae.
Oftentimes employees are required to perform repetitive motions such as typing, lifting or bending. This can be considered an occupational exposure under the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Act. In the event that this occupational exposure causes you injury, you may be entitled to Workers’ Compensation benefits which include all medical treatment related to this injury, total temporary disability wage benefits while you are unable to work as a result of this injury, and an award of permanent partial disability benefits.
If you are suffering from this condition as a result of your work environment, feel free to contact my office for a free consultation so that I can assist you in obtaining all of your benefits. Please call our office at 856-751-7676. You can also fill out our intake form online.
